PCA | PERSONAL CARE AIDES

DEPARTMENT: Dosberg Manor | Assisted Living

STATUS: Full-Time

PCA RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in maintaining a clean, pleasant, and safe environment for the residents
Provide personal care to the residents within the policies of the home, including Activities of Daily Living, toileting, and ambulation
Assist resident in taking prescribed medications as ordered by the physician. Responsible for the accurate record-keeping associated with medication assistance

ATTRIBUTES OF SUCCESSFUL PCAs:

A current NYS PCA certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Sensitivity and genuine empathy for the geriatric population
